The final color we picked out for the kitchen walls is a lot darker than our original colors, Painted Turtle by Behr. We hope to paint our kitchen cabinets the light color (Cotton Whisper) sometime this summer. Last night we painted the large wall that spans the kitchen and living room this color. It looks so good with the floor, and is very rich. I can’t wait until we paint the rest of the kitchen!

You know, I have this in my kitchen. The original inspiration card from June 2005 didn’t say “Cotton Whisper” but was “Vanilla Custard” but was the same exact picture. My kitchen is exactly those colors, using “vanilla custard” and I wondered how the “cotton whisper” turned out. If you didn’t like it and it’s not warm enough, you might try the “vanilla custard.”
